“ This is a course you would wish to come out and play time and time again" Padraig Harrington, winner JP McManus Invitational Pro Am 2005 “
- Padraig Harrington

"I regard Adare Manor as the best inland course in Ireland. It is a bold statement considering the wonderful courses we have in Ireland but in my mind it stands out above the rest. Aesthetically it is beautiful but it is also an extremely well designed golf course. There are great fairways and good fair greens. There is no hidden agenda and Adare Manor is one of the most beautiful settings you will see with the course overlooked by the castle.
“I was lucky enough to win the Irish PGA Championship at Adare Manor and it is a pleasure to play. You know where you have to hit each shot. Nothing is going to jump up and hit you and it is also a very mature site. I am really looking forward to playing the Irish Open there.
“We can also expect a lot of support from the Irish spectators. They came out in droves for the JP McManus Pro-Am a couple of years ago and I expect they will be no different for the Irish Open.
“And hopefully we can get some good weather. Last year we played three events in Ireland and we had atrocious weather so hopefully the gods will be smiling down on us this year and we can get some decent conditions to really showcase this great course.” - Paul McGinley
“Adare Manor is undoubtedly one of the finest parkland courses we have in Ireland and I am certainly looking forward to it. I had a chance to win the Irish Open last year but it was not to be but hopefully I can go a couple better this year. All events in Ireland enjoy fantastic support and I am sure we will enjoy the usual Irish hospitality in Limerick.” - Darren Clarke
“ I think Adare Manor is an ideal venue for a tour event and I am sure the crowd enjoyed it" Padraig Harrington, winner JP McManus Invitational Pro Am 2005 “

“ I just can't believe how good this course is, its not just one of the best in Ireland, its one of the best in the world - Irish PGA Champion 2004 and Ryder Cup Winner 2004: “
- Paul McGinley
“ It's a magnificent venue, you could hold any tournament in the world on it and I just hope I'll be able to do it justice after coming so close last year “
- Christy O'Connor
“ This is a fantastic course, well suited to putting on an Irish Open because they can push back almost all of the tees, but the course we played this week was of ideal length for the seniors. It's a tough layout and with the wind and rain, it was especially so “
- Noel Ratcliffe
“ Players were unanimous in their praise of the Adare Golf Course in both its design, layout and fantastic conditioning - Andy Stubbs Tournament Director A.I.B Seniors Irish Open “
- Andy Stubbs
“ Possibly the best par 5 in the world “
- Robert Trent Jones, Senior
“ Adare Manor is a fantastic venue and the golf course is both visually superb and an excellent test of golf, you had it in a marvelous condition with some of the quickest greens that the girls will ever have experienced “
